Is Your Cell Phone Bugged
You would never think twice about if someone is listening to your calls or reading your own text messages. You would think you cell phone is safe, but to all those that are not in the know, you need to think again.
First you need to know that there is little in the way of protection on a cell phone. It is not like your home or office pc protected by some firewall or antivirus program. There are companies popping up all over with software that will enable you to spy on someones activities. This type of software is perfectly legal to buy and to own, but it is how you use the software that can make it illegal. Spying on someone and listening to their conversations without their consent is illegal and believed to be wire tapping yet this practice is becoming more widespread.
Also you would think that no one could listen in on a conversation when you are not using the phone. Another time to think again. Even when you are not on the phone the spy could activate the speaker phone without your knowledge and listen in on a conversation in the room. Imagine going into a private meeting and the spy listening in on all the vital information in that private meeting. They can hear everything. As far as we know, the only way to combat this if you think your being bugged is to pull the battery completely out of the phone. So the next time you are holding a private meeting make sure all phones are left outside and make sure that the batteries are taken out of the phone.
One of the #1 questions anyone concerned about being spied on with a cell phone is how would I know if I'm being bugged. Well I hope the videos do a good job explaining if you are bugged but the top 3 things you can check for is
#1 Your screen flashes on and off unexpectedly. this can happen without actually touching the phone. This is a sure sign your being bugged.
#2 Your phone is very warm to the touch without having being used. Now it is common for the phone to get hot when you are using it but it should always cool down between uses. If you have left the phone on the table for a while and pick it up a while later and it is hot that is also a another sign you are being bugged.
#3 The battery life of the phone drops. Your phones battery life will diminish over time with all the charging and uncharging it goes through in it's lifetime but if it suddenly drops one day and not the next this could be another sign that you are bugged.
So get to know your phone intimately. And always be aware.
Another point I didn't touch on is gps tracking. If listening in on all your conversations and text messages wasn't enough, you can also be tracked by gps anywhere you go. The spy will always know exactly where you are at all times. Very scary stuff indeed.
So you ask, how do I make sure this does not happen to me? Two things come to mind
#1 Never, ever let your phone out of your sight. Did I mention never ever. It really only takes about 5 - 10 minutes to install software on your phone. And also a spy can read your sim card also even the deleted messages.
#2 And two always protect your phone with a password that nobody else in the world knows but you.
If you believe that your phone is bugged my suggestion is to take it to a professional immediately and just go buy a new one.
