Although this is my first wireless, the picture is terrible.It flickers like the trackings bad on a tape, so theres a huge line that runs through the picture.The sound is bad,its a loud buzzing noise.The picture is ok on a tube tv but not a high resolution.The only good thing is the nightvision.But all in all I wish I woulda saved up for a good one.This camera is worthless!

Nice how they don't mention that on the product page.

The cameras are good and the battery pack works well...but only with a MAX of four hours. Seriously...there's not a whole lot of applications that you can use a wireless camera for that it's cool to change the battery out every couple of hours. It's like having to pull over an airplane to refuel every few clouds. It just doesn't work.

If there was a heavy duty battery that could last eight hours and cost three times as much, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but for only a few hours of battery life? Not a chance.

Customer Review: Finally, a high-quality easy to use webcam

I have purchased webcams (Linksys, Panasonic) over the years trying to find one that I can set up, works well and provides remote access over the Internet. The Sharx 2606 is the first one that really works for me. It has very fine image quality and is easy to set up. It took about twenty minutes to set up the camera for local network access and remote Internet access including iPhone access.

The weakest part of the product is its manual and lack of on-line support tools (such as FAQ's) but that is made up for by responsive technical support. I had a question about setting up port forwarding in my router to allow for remote access of the webcam. I sent an email to Sharx and received a phone call within minutes. The issue was resolved in about five minutes during the call.

I highly recommend the 2606 webcam and plan to purchase two more Sharx webcams.
